SSCS rates and funding options
These fees apply to welfare benefit and SSCS support only. Employment Tribunal support is free where the matter is accepted.
Reduced rate
Fixed fee: GBP 87.50
GBP 25 deposit to book an appointment
Reduced-rate initial consultation and case review for people on lower incomes. Eligibility and scope are confirmed before an appointment is booked.
Standard rate
Fixed fee: GBP 175
GBP 50 deposit to book an appointment
Initial consultation and case review for welfare benefit and SSCS matters, with a clear assessment of next steps.
Accepted appeal matters
10%-20% contingency
No up-front appeal fee where agreed in writing
For suitable tribunal appeal matters accepted in writing, SPU Law may agree a percentage from backdated benefit arrears.

Level 1
Early employment triage
Key dates, documents, ACAS position, limitation-risk check and a practical next-step plan.
Level 2
Workplace process support
Free help with grievances, disciplinaries, redundancy consultation, dismissal correspondence and document preparation where the matter is accepted.
Level 3
Tribunal claim preparation
Free support with ET1/ET3 review, issues, chronologies, evidence organisation and case management preparation where the matter is accepted.
Level 4
Tribunal hearing support and representation
Free claimant hearing support and Employment Tribunal representation where suitable and confirmed in writing.
